Walker Filtration Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Downes as the company’s new Head of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

Last month, Walker Filtration announced the appointment of Chris Downes as Head of SHEQ.

With over 17 years of engineering / quality experience operating in a wide range of environments and roles, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the company. In his appointment as Head of SHEQ, Chris will deliver a clear and innovative road map for the SHEQ function. He will lead the function to ensure and maintain strategies and processes are in place to meet the business objectives and operational needs.

Chris will also work to ensure a strong safety and quality culture throughout the company. Guaranteeing safety within all aspects of our company and for all employees is of the upmost importance, Chris will play a great role in achieving a high standard of health, safety, and quality. Chris will oversee the quality, safety, and environmental management at our Washington, UK, headquarters.
