Walker Filtration is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Thompson as the company’s new Chief Design Officer.

Last month, Walker Filtration announced the appointment of Michael Thompson as the company’s new Chief Design Officer.

An accomplished engineer, Michael holds an MSc in Engineering and Technology and possesses over 20 years of technical experience in a variety of sectors, with companies such as Tharsus Group, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, and Parker Hannifin. In his new role, Michael joins the Senior Management Team, and is responsible for leading all aspects of the engineering team.

Michael said of his appointment “I’m delighted to join Walker Filtration in what is a very exciting period in our journey so far. The passion I have seen from the team already, and the success we have had up to this point, gives me comfort that the ambitious growth plan can be realised. I’m looking forward to working with such a talented group of people, and together I’m sure we’ll achieve great things.”

As CDO, Michael will play a crucial role in our Senior Management Team as focus on delivering our strategic growth plan.
